These cute lollies are so easy and make lovely gifts for children's parties.
What you will need:
Any chocolate will do but I love these bags of candy drops from HobbyCraft They come in so many colours. I've used pink and yellow for my lollies.
You will also need a lolly mould... please pop over to the very lovely Baked By Me. The website is full of lots of chocolate moulds, I have quite a few now and the service is excellent.
You will also need cake pop sticks, which you can find in a lot of supermarkets, or hobby craft....and plenty of sweets, I've used white mice, ice cream sweets and dolly mixtures.
How To ;
1..Melt the candy drops in the microwave, just do it on 30 second bursts of heat. Chocolate can burn very quickly.
2..Spoon the chocolate into the moulds and add the lolly sticks.
3..Let the chocolate set very slightly then pop sweets on and plenty of sprinkles.
4..Pop into the fridge
5..Once set gently remove from the moulds...these moulds are brilliant though and pop out quite easily.
I like to pop my lollies into clear bags. The ones I've used are for putting cards into but found you get more for your money than if you buy special sweet treat bags. These can also be brought in Hobby Craft.
The bags were trimmed to fit the Lolly size and then finished with paper raffia ribbon. These were from Wilkinson in a set of 3.
Taaa Daaa!! super cute gifts
Happy Baking
